Neve didn't start as a place to rent. It started as a patch of vineyard on the slopes of Mount Etna, a family that couldn't say no, and a little stone cottage that was waiting for someone to love it again. We'd love to tell you how it all came together.

Before there was a website or a logo, there was a hillside of neglected vines near Nicolosi and a family who simply couldn't let them go to waste. Our first seasons were all about the wine — learning the volcanic soil, the wind off Etna, and the slow rhythm of the harvest.
At the edge of the rows stood a small stone building, long empty. It took us years to bring it back to life — but the dream of sharing this quiet corner of Sicily with you was there from the very start.
The slow, happy work of turning a working vineyard into a place we could share.
We took on a small patch of old vines near Nicolosi — more heart than plan. Those first harvests were tiny, and we shared every bottle with the friends who came to help.
The little stone building at the edge of the rows had been empty for years. We rolled up our sleeves and began bringing it back, one wall at a time.
We opened the door and held our breath. The people who came felt like friends by the time they left — and many of them still write to us.
Hundreds of kind reviews later, we earned Superhost status. We added the outdoor table and the quiet reading spots among the vines that guests kept asking for.
The vines are older and so are we. We look after this place a little better each year, and we still get a thrill every time someone new arrives.
We took the cottage back to its stone bones. We kept the walls we could save and rebuilt the rest to follow the sun — whitewashed surfaces, warm oak, and a little Calacatta marble that catches the afternoon glow.
We're still gathering our before-and-after photos — this is where they'll live. Drop images into web/public/photos and swap them in here.
We're a small family, with a lot of help from the neighbours and makers who know this land best.
I look after the day-to-day — from the harvest to the little welcome basket waiting on the table when you arrive. If you message us, you’re messaging me.
Three generations have pruned these vines in winter and pressed them in autumn. Their hands are in every corner of this place.
The Sicilian craftspeople down the road restored the stonework, fitted the oak, and set the marble — keeping the cottage true to where it stands.
The cottage is still tended by the same family, and still booked the same simple way — directly through Airbnb. Come spend a quiet week among our vines.
